Lovely is the word that comes to your mind when you get into Luisium. On the one hand because of the mood, this landscape garden white spread in the English style, on the other hand also because the associated buildings are so perfectly composed that it is a pleasure.

The Luisium is named after the wife of Prince Franz, who in 1778 after four years of construction their own Castle was the 30th anniversary. Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff built a neoclassical villa, which must be called a masterpiece. Almost became iconic of elegant and bright cubes with the Belvedere as a crown on a hill. The interior of the small castle is tailored to the former owner - the finest stucco, Wall and ceiling paintings in which it comes to virtue and religion again.
